- Due to the increased body mass index, triglycerides and bad cholesterol (LDL) levels increase in the body.
- High levels of LDL and low levels of HDL are the major causes of a disease called atherosclerosis, due to which the blood vessels contract and the risk of heart attack is increased.
- An obese person remains in danger of having cancer throughout the life. They are more likely to have intestinal, breast and osophhenenic cancer.
