The video that the viewer will watch more, will start getting ads. So far, only a handful of publishers got the benefit.
Initially this feature will be in the video shown in UK, USA, Ireland, Australia and New Zealand.
The profit from the video will be divided into producer and Facebook. Manufacturers will get 55% and Facebook gets 45% money.
Facebook was supposed to announce the date of service on Wednesday, but the announcement was postponed because of leak of information. Because of this, some users are unable to see its page.
Facebook's Watch Service is being described as the rival of Google's YouTube. But they will not only compete with YouTube, but also Netflix, Amazon Video, BBC iPlayer and Facebook's Instagram TVs, as well as traditional TV channels and online outlets.
In a study last week, it was told that the people of America have shown interest only in the first year itself.
Diffusion Group questions 1,632 adult Facebook users about this. Of which 50% had never heard about Watch, while 24% said that they knew about the on-demand service, but they never used it.
Only 14% said that they used this service once a week.
However, a second report says that millions of people have seen some of the watch shows. Some people want to see those shows again and again.
Many big stars are also working for the platform's original programming.
Some of them are:
- Jada Pinkett Smith, who is working in the Talk Show Red Table Talk
- Elizabeth Olsen will appear in the "Sorry for Your Los" drama. This drama will be premiered next month.
- British adventurer Bayer Grylls is hosting the reality show 'Face the Wild'.
- ABC, Fox News, Vice and BuzzFeed have also created programs for service.

Facebook claims that their service helps people interact.Says Fudzi Simo, Vice President of the video in Facebook, "You can talk to friends, other fans and yourself with the content."
Simo Watch tells about party party features. She says that with the help of this feature, two people can watch the show together. Apart from this, manufacturers can run pole, challenge and quiz to increase engagement.
